About Sister Society

The Sister Society was founded by a group of visionary female entrepreneurs who share a common mission to change the world.

While we all make a significant difference through our businesses, we knew that there was more work to be done; that we wanted to commit to making a sustainable difference with some of society’s deepest issues. We knew this required more than just wanting to “make a difference”—it required on the ground, immersive action to better understand these issues, and a powerful use of our collective influence to both educate others on these issues, and garner their support.

We know that by bringing our efforts, talents, resources and visions together we can go further than any of us could ever have gone alone.

How we work

An Important Cause + Social Influence = Impact 

Each year, the founding members vote on an initiative to support through both on the ground volunteer work, as well as fundraising and fiscal sponsorship.

As a team, The Sister Society looks at the vision and operations of the chosen organization and decides how they can best support their efforts.

Through social campaigns, peer influence, fundraising, and media projects, The SS brings about awareness and exposure to the bigger picture of the organization–helping to raise both financial support and social awareness around WHY these initiatives are so important as a collective.

The Sister Society is committed to being the wind beneath the wings of organizations who are doing great work in the world and simply need a boost of support to have their vision reach new heights.
